FAQs:

  • The frequency of your visits depends on your concerns or conditions. During your initial consultation, we will develop a treatment plan and give you an idea of the time frame.

  • Podiatry is a healthcare service that focuses on the assessment and care of foot and lower limb health. Podiatrists are highly skilled and experienced professionals who are passionate about helping you achieve your foot health goals and needs. They can diagnose and treat a wide range of foot conditions and issues and create a personalised treatment plan to improve your comfort and functionality.

It's important to note that you don't have to wait until you experience discomfort and decreased mobility to seek podiatry assistance. They can help at any time.

  • We will discuss with you your requirements and goals, and provide a comprehensive assessment of your feet, including your background health history when relevant. We will then create a customised plan regarding your issues and begin treatment.

  • Within the extensive list of issues and conditions podiatrists treat, some of the more common ones include plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, heel pain, ankle sprains, arch pain, Morton’s neuromas and shin splints.

  • Medicare covers some aspects of podiatry care. These generally require a referral from a GP and depend on the issue you are receiving help for. JS Podiatry does not offer bulk billing, and as such, a gap fee is payable. We do process HICAPS and process health fund rebates.
